Ingredients

750 ml liter whole milk
4 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon cornflour
2 cups water
1 cup sugar
For the milk[syrup]
500 ml whole milk
5-6 green cardamom pods, peeled and crushed to get the powder
saffron, a pinch
1/2 cup sugar
finely chopped almonds and cashew nuts
Rasmalai
#.Add 750 ml of milk
#.Squeeze 1/2 lemon into the milk.
#.The milk has turned into a paneer
#.Strain the water out of the paneer
#.Add 1 cup of cold water
#.Squeeze the water and leave for 10 min
#.Make the dough into small, flat balls
#.Add 2 cups water and 1 cup sugar
#.Add the paneer balls and cook for 6 min
#.Put 1 pinch of saffron and soak it in milk
#.Soak it for 10 minutes
#.Add 500 ml milk in a pan.
#.Add the saffron milk
#.Add 1/2 cup sugar
#.Crush 10 cashews, Add the crushed cashews
#.Add almond slices
#.Add the rasamalai balls to the milk
#.Let it soak for 2 hours
